PREAMBLE:

 

The FeedBack solution application is published by Infostrates, a société par actions simplifiée [simplified joint-stock company] with share capital of €50,000 located at Parc d’Activité de la Valentine, Lot 4, montée Commandant de Robien, Marseille (13011).

Infostrates is responsible for processing the personal data collected in connection with its business.

The privacy policy sets out the conditions under which Infostrates, as the data controller, collects and processes the personal data of all those who have been or will be its stakeholders.

As the data controller, Infostrates complies with the regulations in force regarding the protection of personal data and in particular with the provisions of Law No. 78617 of 6 January 1978 as amended (known as the ‘Data Protection Act’) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (known as the ‘GDPR’).

The purpose of this privacy policy is to tell you how Infostrates intends to process your personal data.

By using the application, the user acknowledges that he/she has been informed of the conditions for processing his/her personal data as set out herein, and that he/she accepts them unreservedly.

• The terms ‘you’/’your’ refer to users of the Infostrates application (prospective customers, service providers, suppliers, partners, job applicants, etc.) as well as any third party who, incidentally or otherwise, may one day enter into a contractual or non-contractual relationship with Infostrates or simply come into contact with it, in any capacity whatsoever.
• The terms ‘we’/’us’/‘our’ refer to Infostrates, its directors, employees and partners.

 

1 - Personal data collected

We collect and process the data gathered via the questionnaire completed by you in your capacity as partner vet, together with the pet’s owner, namely:

• First and last name;
• Telephone number;
• Email addresses;
• Data relating to your pet’s identity, such as its name, age, breed, weight, blood and urine tests, general state of health and photograph.

When you use our application, we may also automatically collect certain information from your computer. This may include your IP address and browser type. We may also collect information about your online activity. We collect this information in order to personalise your browsing experience. For more information, please see the ‘cookies’ section.

When you use the social media functions on our application, we may be able to access information about you in accordance with the privacy policies of the social media platforms.

 

2 - Purpose of the data collection

Depending on the purposes and reasons for which we collect your personal data and that of pet owners, the following organisations or staff may have access to your data:

• Infostrates’ partners such as vets, laboratories, business partners, food manufacturers, etc.; 
• Infostrates employees;
• Third parties processing personal data as data processors or service providers, in compliance with Infostrates’ instructions (hosting; technical maintenance; data security, routing, etc.);
• Third parties working with Infostrates in the performance of its tasks, insofar as the disclosure of this data is necessary for this purpose;
• Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, etc.) and insurers;
• Public supervisory and regulatory authorities, etc.

If Infostrates transfers personal data to a third country, in particular if its servers hosting the data are located outside the European Union, it undertakes to ensure that the contracts signed with the service providers concerned include the standard contractual clauses established by the European Commission to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data transferred.

 

4 - How long we store your personal data

 

Your personal data is stored for the duration of the partnership. It will then be stored for a period of five years following the end of the partnership, for evidentiary and record-keeping purposes.

You are hereby informed that the processed data provided to Infostrates’ partners in connection with the use of the services may be stored and processed by them, with no involvement from Infostrates, for a period longer than that provided for in the previous paragraph, in particular to meet the legal obligations imposed on them.

 

5 - Privacy and security guarantees for your personal data

 

Infostrates undertakes to ensure the security of personal data disclosed to it for any reason. 

To this end, it has put in place an information systems security policy, as well as appropriate technical rules and measures, to effectively protect the personal data under its control from unauthorised access, disclosure, use or modification, as well as unlawful destruction or accidental loss.

Infostrates specifies that all its stakeholders, including employees, consultants, various service providers and data processors (i.e. the persons who process your personal data on our behalf for the aforementioned purposes), who have access to personal data and are involved in its processing, are obliged to comply with Infostrates’ privacy policy.

However, you hereby acknowledge that you have been informed that no data transfer over the Internet is 100% secure and that any information provided may be collected and used by persons other than the recipient.

 

6 - Your rights with regard to your personal data

• A right to rectification;
• A right to erasure;
• A right to restriction of processing to certain scenarios;

You also have the right to appeal to the Commission Nationale de l’Information et des Libertés (French data protection authority) in the event of a breach of the regulations applicable to the protection of personal data, in particular the GDPR.

Infostrates reserves the right to change its privacy policy from time to time, by choice or to adapt to changes in the legislation in force or technological developments. Infostrates undertakes to inform you of any significant changes. However, it is your responsibility to refer to this privacy policy regularly.
